Mr. Ahmed Bin Ali Al Dhahry is the Chairman of RealCAPITA. Gifted with a talent for sound judgment in investments, he has proven his mettle through a decade-long uninterrupted track record of successful investments.

In addition to his role, Mr. Al Dhahry holds a number of distinguished positions including that of Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Ali & Sons Group, Chief Executive Officer of Injaz Mena Investment Company PSC, Managing Director of Abu Dhabi National Foodstuff Company PSC (FOODCO), Chairman of Publinet Advertising & Publicity LLC, Board member of Abu Dhabi Aviation Company PSC, Board member of Al Wathba Insurance Company PSC and Board member of Al Qudra Holding PJSC, among others.

Mr. Al Dhahry qualified in the United States as a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BA degree from Seattle Pacific University.

 
Mohammed Al-Tawash

Mr. Mohammed Al Tawash is a Civil Engineer, graduated from WIT, Boston – U.S.A. and has abroad management skills in institutional levels.

Mr. Al Tawash has comprehensive experience in the GCC and global investment and real estate market within the private sector as well as the public sector. He has been directly involved in:

  • Real estate investment structuring according to both conventional and Islamic Principles
  • Forming strategic alliances with real estate financing institutions
  • Creating innovative marketing strategies for real estate projects and institutions
  • Directed business development for various real estate companies
  • Raising capital for establishing real estate companies and financial institutions
  • Industrial and property development consulting and investing
  • Public-Private Partnership (PPP) facilitation including wide experience with Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) concept

Mr. Al Tawash has demonstrated strong leadership and management skills of real estate organizations during all cycles of the real estate market. He has trained and managed a dynamic team in his time as a founder and post CEO of TAMEER (www.tameer.com) where his vision and leadership propelled the company to become the first publicly held real estate company in Bahrain SE and Kuwait SE and now the founder & President of RealCAPITA (www.realcapita.com) has shown more solid base for expansion. In addition, his previous positions as Chairman of Coldwell Banker Bahrain (www.coldwellbankerbh.com) and Tala Island Development Company (www.tala-amwaj.com), as well as the founder and currently a Board Member of REEF (Real Estate Finance Co.) (www.reef.bh), the 1st specialized Mortgage Bank in Bahrain and owned by the private sector, have shown him to be an effective leader. Qais Al-Maskati
Deputy Chief Executive (DCE)

Mr. Al-Maskati has working project experience in a variety of industries including hospitality & leisure, consumer and industrial products, financial services, media, transportation, real estate and government services. He is a trained professional in asset allocation strategies, portfolio management, risk management and asset securitization.

Mr. AlMaskati is a senior investment executive with an accomplished career spanning over 12 years. Has a track record based on a through understanding of the GCC investment banking and real estate industries. Mr. AlMaskati is a founding member of RealCAPITA and was previously an Executive Director in Tameer, a publicly real estate development company traded on the Bahrain and Kuwait stock exchanges. At Tameer, Mr. AlMaskati was responsible for managing a $500mn portfolio of real estate projects in a number of markets (GCC, MENA, Europe and the N. American). He also structured investment funds dedicated to the development of an US$1bn industrial park and a US$500mn man-made resort island in Bahrain. In addition, he lead the investment structuring team in established a specialized US$50mn mortgage finance company in Bahrain and incorporating a US$25mn theme park development company.

Previous to Tameer, Mr. AlMaskati, was a manager at the Bahrain branch of Coopers & Lybrand, PricewaterhouseCoopers and BDO Jawad Habib. All of which are strategic consultancy firms. In this post, Mr. Almaskati led a team of consultants during numerous assignments in a variety of industry disciplines. This included advising on the private placement of a several investment, commercial and Islamic banks in Bahrain and Dubai including a US$300mn Islamic investment bank in Bahrain. He also advised on the establishment of the telecom regulatory authority in Bahrain and the viability of issuing a second mobile license. His work involved establishing several mortgage lending institutions including a building society.

Previous to his consultancy post, Mr. AlMaskati worked for Arab Reinsurance Group (ARIG) in Bahrain and was a member of the business development team which commissioned the establishment of subsidiaries in the direct life and medical insurance business lines in Bahrain, Jordan, Egypt, and Morocco

Mr. AlMaskati enjoys an extensive range of industry experience spanning the fields of real estate (mortgage lending, securitization instruments, BOT projects), hospitality and leisure (hotels & serviced apartments, retail malls & cinemas, franchised restaurants), financial services (consumer finance, insurance underwriting), industrial products (aluminum & steel, petrochemicals & plastics), consumer products (food & beverages, hydroponics, electronics, cosmetics & pharmaceuticals), media (outdoor advertisement, exhibition management, newspapers & cable TV), information technology (data centers & smart cards, Mobile & satellite telephony, e-learning) , education (private schools & universities, training institutes, sports academies) Mr. Al-Maskati graduated in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Kansas State University, Kansas, USA. In addition he has a Diploma in Insurance Studies from the Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance (1996), and a management consultancy MBA from Coopers & Lybrand Consulting School, London, UK (1998).

Hasan Al-Mansoor
Chief Finance Officer (CFO)

Hasan AlMansoor has responsibility for Finance and other support functions in RealCAPITA to ensure all decision making is based on solid economic merits and is in-line with long-term corporate objectives.

Mr. AlMansoor is a certified finance professional with a distinguished career and proven track record in the areas of business analysis and re-engineering, operational excellence, project financing implementation, and deal financial structuring.

Prior to joining RealCAPITA, Mr. AlMansoor worked for Gulf Air where he was leading all aspects of financial support for various divisions in the Airline. This includes providing financial budgeting and analysis and project management in the areas of route planning, route profitability, strategic and commercial planning and aircraft economic analysis.

During his time with Gulf Air, Mr. AlMansoor was an active member in the airline’s 3-year business and financial turnaround plan “Project Falcon” implementation team, where he held memberships in a number of strategic workgroups including Fleet Planning Workgroup that is responsible for aircraft analysis and evaluation; ensure that all significant expenditure on aircraft sourcing, renewal and updates are economically justified and draws the long-term fleet strategy for the airline. Mr. AlMansoor participated in negotiation and implementation of multi-million dollar deals with various international aviation giants, including the commercial and financial restructuring of Gulf Air’s reservation business in the Middle East.

Mr. AlMansoor started his career with global leading professional firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was involved in a wide range of clients in Islamic and conventional financial services and oil and gas, and public sector gaining experience in auditing, all aspects of financial accounting and general financial advice.

Currently, Mr. AlMansoor is a board member in Amwaj Gateway Co. BSC and Real MAROC.

Mr. AlMansoor is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) from the United Kingdom, and has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (honors) from the University of Bahrain.
