RealCAPITA Participates in World Economic Forum held in Sharm ElSheikh, Egypt
The forum was inaugurated by Egyptian President Husni Mubarak, and featured a key-note speech by the US President George Bush. Both heads of state discussed some of the headline topics on the global agenda such as oil prices, global inflation concerns, climate change, and energy shortage.
RealCAPITA was represented in the event by Executive Vice President Mr. Qais AlMaskati, who described the company´s participation as "an important step towards expanding the company´s horizons into the global domain". He also "emphasized the importance and effectiveness of participating in this global forum for a company that has managed to establish itself as an active real estate development and investment house with several distinctive projects in the Middle East region and internationally". Mr. AlMaskati participated in several discussion groups that attempted to diagnose the current economic situation in the region, and the most important factors influence the global economy. These discussions also touched on the relevancy of the current political situation in the region on general economic conditions, especially with the recent emergence of a few super-growth economies in the Middle East and North Africa.
Mr. AlMaskati added: "the forum provided a unique opportunity to meet with selected decision-makers, global thought-leaders and business players, through participation in specialized workshops, and direct dialogue meetings and lecture programs.
